Your print will be wrapped in tissue then rolled up and wrapped in more tissue paper then boxed up carefully to ensure it can’t move during transportation.
We would advise taking it straight to a framer and letting them deal with it to ensure no finger prints touch the print before framing. It’s always good to ask the framers advice on which Framer you should go for if you are at all unsure.
Artwork should always be hung so the middle of the painting is at your eye level. This avoids getting it too high or too low which are common mistakes. You can use picture hooks from any hardware store or a screw into a stud will always work too. A stud finder tool is always useful so you can locate your studs easily.
If hanging more than one painting and you want to get them level measure up from the ground and make a mark then do the same again with the same measurement and then check with a spirit level balanced on a bit of wood on the top edge of the frames inbetween both artwork to check you have got it right.
We are happy to organise framing with Round The Bend Framing Studio in Braidwood or we can also arrange a gift card with them so the recipient of your gift can go and choose their own frame.
